Teachers will describe how the instrument is actually based on an incredibly old design with evidence suggesting that it may be up to 40,000 years old, and one of the oldest musical finds is a three holed flute made from mammoth tusk discovered in Germany.
The teachers in this category will be ale to show you how to play utilising a variety of techniques and you will quickly be confident with various genres of music. Some flute teachers specialise in specific types of the instrument such as Indian designs of Japanese designs.
The principle of these flutes remains the same as our concept of what a flute is but as many teachers demonstrate differences in playing styles and the materials used in the construction of the instrument produce a very different sound. The traditional western concert flute is the most commonly taught type my teachers and you will quickly find yourself able to pick up the skills required to become an experienced flautist.
