Description I started David Squire Guitar Tuition to offer 1-2-1 guitar lessons to all ages in Nottingham and the surrounding areas. Whether it's guitar for beginners or advanced players, I am the music teacher for you. With over 20 years experience as a guitar teacher, I understand the importance of being able to read music and guitar tablature as well as understanding the theory behind it. From the fretboard to the correct chords, I offer a friendly, family orientated environment in which to fulfil your potential as a guitarist. Reading music & tablature Music theory Practical & theory exams can be taken if required Various types of guitar A range of guitar styles I also offer recording facilities for backing tracks and recording your guitar tuition. This allows you to build up a library of CDs to show your progress as you move from guitar for beginners into more advanced styles. All of this is included in the cost of the guitar lessons. From the acoustic guitar to the electric, with the bass guitar in between, I use my 20 years as a guitar teacher to advise you on the style that's right for you. I will even accompany you to buy your first guitar or give you a list of recommended guitar shops. Feeling confident? With the support of computer courses and guitar manuals I'm committed to helping you pass your ABRSM and Rockschool exams. Or maybe you just want a hobby? At David Squire Guitar Tuition I believe in going at your own pace. Whatever the age, I want to make guitar lessons fun. If you don't have your own guitar or you're not sure what style would suit you I have a selection to structure your guitar lessons around. I also supply off-road parking and full air conditioning so parents and loved ones can see how the guitar tuition is progressing.
