Clarinet Teachers
The clarinet teachers listed in this section of our website will teach you how to play this wonderful instrument. The clarinet is a member of the woodwind family and uses a single reed to produce its warm tone. There are many different sizes of clarinet, all of which produce different tones and sounds and various teachers will play different types, many more than one type.
By far the most common clarinet for teachers to teach is the B? soprano clarinet, this is the kind that has the most music written for it as many other types are now rare or even completely obsolete. The teachers listed here will take you through all stages of playing the clarinet, from being a beginner clarinettist to an experienced player with a wide repertoire.
The timbre produced by the clarinet is thanks to the cylindrical shape of the instrument, something shared by all types of clarinets. Many teachers will often swap between different clarinets for different pieces of music but will keep the same mouthpiece and just slot it into the instrument, switching between A, B?, E?, bass, alto and basset types is not unusual.
The teachers in this section of our website are second to none and we are sure that you will find some teachers in your local area who can teach you how to play this stunning instrument.
